I will be attending the Toronto event in February as I did back a year and a half or so ago. I'm not big on public testimonials but I needed to say this regarding the aftereffects of that session:I had been experiencing what I thought to be the beginnings of an arthritic issue in my hands. I was certainly aware of pain and rubbed my hands and big knuckles frequently for relief. You need to know that I was not expecting anything groundbreaking to happen since my issues were so minor compared to those in attendance who were truly suffering. The next day, as I was preparing the turkey (I'm thinking it was around Thanksgiving!) I was in the worst pain I had ever felt. I remember thinking, "wow that really didn't work now did it? It just made it worse!". This lasted all day until I woke up the next morning. To this day, I have not felt the pain since.I am looking forward to the upcoming session. This time my focus (and again I know this seems almost ridiculous when I think of others in need) will be on the unbelievable peri-menopausal symptoms I have been experiencing since July. Anxiety beyond belief. I shake like I have Parkinsons. I am sleepless and drenched! Honestly the anxiety was so intense that I was starting to hear voices that made me jump out of my skin. I have never experienced such a loss of control (crying all the time etc.). I will also be focusing on my daughter (2nd year university) who is experiencing hormone imbalances of her own via the thyroid. The doc says it's as a result of the estrogen hormones in our foods and atmosphere. She is naturally my greater concern. I will want to send the goods her way. Given the condition of the planet, embracing a sense of balance for all- is my intention for the next session. And staying open to wonderful possibilities.Looking forward to aurically bonding with others and wish Adam the very best at school.
As proteins are dynamic in nature, they are constantly changing their conformations. Certain conformations enhance the rate of a reaction more than others which we describe as being more enzymatically active. Here’s the important part. This means that just the smallest change in structure or orientation of any part of this protein has dramatic effects on its enzymatic activity and, consequently, our health.
