dear adam
i write this because i attended your last workshop in burnaby, and you asked that we write to you with feedback.  i came with my 22 year old son (who is interested in healing) and 14 year old daughter.  my daughter and i came to your previous local workshop.
we came initially because my daughter and i were looking for new ways to deal with her scoliosis -- an angle of about 50-60 degrees that developed a couple of years ago, and for which they recommended a surgery (fusing 12 vertebrae and inserting a metal rod) we did not undertake.  she was very happy to read your books, and she practices your visualizations regularly.  she also does yoga type stretching daily,  regular horseback riding (a long standing passion which seems to help as well), and accupuncture and upper cervical chiropractic treatments as needed.  the specialist said that without surgery she would deteriorate gradually 1-2 degrees a month.  this has not been the case.  the change in her back is very gradual, but it is improving.  the actual shape of her back is always changing  slightly, which i take to be a good sign of the body trying to transform itself.  the main thing is that your visualizations have given her direction and hope and something to do for herself.  this is a very great gift.
i did not come with any "diagnosis": my health (at 53 and after 5 kids) is reasonble but not robust.  i have always been interested in health and healing, but my main focus since a teenager has been spiritual self realization.  i came to you workshop because i was inspired to read your books and i wanted to meet you.  i came away with so much.  for the last ten years i have been practicing internal chi gung exercises (taught by grand master liang here in vancouver) for health maintenance.  your explanations and dvd of visualization have helped tremendously with their power and clarity.  my health is much stronger.  also a sense of impersonal power that is somehow combined with love/gratitude. thank you so much.  it is a great privilege to meet you and your parents, and a great inspiration that you can walk the earth with us all.
