Just a few minutes ago Shari and myself registered for your Vancouver workshop which we are looking forward to.
This prompted me to write this short letter regarding our Nootka experience. We have always been taken by Adam's wonderful and spiritual calling on Nootka, so we decided to go there ourselves. We took the Uchuck in first part of July to Nootka. It was a beautiful day and the trip was wonderful. We first went to the church which we found amazing and very spiritual with all the totem poles. From the church we followed the trail to the right and past the cemetery. Past the cemetery we walked into the forest and waited. In a few minutes we heard this sound a few feet from us, but we could not make out what it was. It was on the forest floor making a flapping sound. Not very loud but still it caught our attention. In complete silence we waited and before very long a beautiful owel flew up from the ground and landed in a tree a few feet in front of us. It stared at us and we stared back at it for a few minutes. Even though it was not the big bird that we had hoped for, it still was a blessing to see it and it made our day. So this was our Nootka experience and by going to Adam's workshops we actually found out about Nootka. Peter and Shari
