When I attended the office in Vancouver, yesterday, to participate in the brain mapping, I so excited and grateful to have been selected for this study, that when I briefly met with you, it went right of my head what I wanted to say. I told you about the optic nerve sheath meningioma, but not the excruciating 3-day migraines I've been dealing with for the past 26 years. I wasn't sure how important this was to mention and kicked myself, once I left the office for not saying something about a condition that has had such an impact on my life. I don't know if this makes a difference to this study or not, but thought I would just include this by way of email.

I wasn't sure what to expect as far as speaking with you, and assumed that I would be meeting with you again before I left the office so that I could thank you.

Adam, I am extremely grateful that I was chosen; I don't know what the selection process was, but I do realize that many people must have volunteered to be part of this and so I am very lucky to have been selected. When I was diagnosed with this tumor, last year, I chose to believe that "everything happens for a reason" and that I had something to learn through this. I am grateful that, as a result of my attitude in looking for the positive in an otherwise negative situation, I was introduced to the work that you are doing. Thank goodness, I was already on a spiritual-learning journey and so already had a belief in energy work. However, I can see the impact the work you are doing has had on some of my friends and family and it's been very positive and life-altering.

I know there must be alot of criticism coming your way, as well, but you are having a positive effect on everyone watching you, which I'm sure you already know. Thank you so much for sharing your gift and
knowledge with the world! Thanks to your family for being so loving and open-minded to have allowed you to do this from the time you were so young. And thanks for allowing me to be part of this study!
