Enhance Your Visualization Skills

Implementing these five points will not only increase your powers of visualization, but will provide a foundation for self-empowerment.

  1. Know Yourself
  2. Lifestyle Issues
  3. Balancing Life
  4. Be Positive
  5. Keep it Simple

Know Yourself

By guiding your emotions, intuition, and memory of events (both past, present and future) you are fine-tuning your immune system to heal your body. Your mind does have control over every bodily function, so use every tool you have to make all your body systems work for you in the best possible way. Rather than reacting with old habits to emotional triggers, you will become proactive in the creation of new thoughts and reactions which are more healthy. You will be choosing to take in only information that you need to improve your well-being.

Know that you can go beyond any limitations that you may have previously felt based on input from others and reach toward a new set of expectations of self-empowerment. You must accept the responsibility that you are in charge of yourself. To understand yourself better, notice what pushes your buttons. What are your emotional triggers? When you understand this, you can control and then reinvent yourself.

When we are in control of our conscious and subconscious selves, we are in control of our immune system and our health. In your dream state (when meditating or about to fall asleep), synchronize your conscious and subconscious mind through visualization. Let your intentions and intuitions guide you.

Lifestyle Issues

Get rid of your obvious poor lifestyle choices, including all of the stress and negativity in your life. The physical part of this is the easiest. Work less and play more. Spend time with family and friends. Nobody is indispensable at work, but everyone needs fun and relaxation. Everyone needs nurturing human ties. Sometimes “giving all” by helping others becomes a highly-stressful but invisible burden when, in the process, you have forgotten to take care of yourself. This can be a pitfall for a healer or caretaker.

Balancing Life

A basic principle of wellness is achieving balance in all aspects of life – physically, emotionally and spiritually. It is everyone’s constant challenge, not just the healer’s. Imbalance in any of these areas always teaches us about ourselves. The balance and counter-balance is the ever-changing dance of life. There aren’t any specific guidelines for this since our challenges are very individual. Dance lessons can teach you basic steps, but ultimately it is the FEELING of enjoying the music, developing self-confidence, and letting go of inhibitions which enable you to just DO IT.

Be Positive

Surround yourself with positive, like-minded people. Concentrate on what you enjoy. With circumstances you cannot change, learn to change your attitude. Find an aspect about the situation for which you can be grateful and dwell on that. Monitor self-talk to ensure that what you are telling yourself is positive and reflects your personal goal of wellness. Your expected outcome must be synchronized with your goal.

DO YOU REALLY EXPECT THIS TO HAPPEN?

Remember:  SELF-TALK is 24-7. YOU ARE THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN YOUR LIFE!!!

All day and all night, we listen to our own judgmental opinions of ourselves. WEED OUT THE NEGATIVE FEED BACK AND REPLACE IT WITH WHATEVER YOU NEED TO RECREATE YOUR POSITIVE REALITY. RETIRE FROM THE EXHAUSTING POSITION OF BEING YOUR OWN JUDGE AND JURY – AND THE JUDGE AND JURY OF OTHERS.

Give others – and ultimately yourself -the benefit of the doubt and move on. (How could we possibly expect to judge another’s thoughts, words and actions when it is often difficult to assess our own?) Forgive those around you, and with that you will forgive yourself and move forward. Leave your personal baggage, any anger or fear issues, behind you and move forward.

FORGIVE, and then FORGET!

RELAX AND GO WITH IT!!

YOU WILL ULTIMATELY ACHIEVE WHAT

YOU DESIRE!!

Keep it Simple

In our society, we consider it necessary to consult an expert on almost every aspect of our lives. When faced with baffling calculations, we must see an accountant. We ask a lawyer what the true meaning of a string of indecipherable words really means. When our body is sending us a personal S.O.S. message, we consult a doctor. We have come to believe that whatever the topic, others must know more about ourselves than we do. Furthermore, we have the idea that whatever the situation, it MUST be complicated.
